We may experience some problems on start up entries occasionally that some windows xp startup programs are that are notified in the task bar become vanish after some time.we cant avoid or remove these startup programs because they are essential for instant access.for example, the essential volume control button....clicking the .exe button on these programs may not work all time.Now, a simple program will help you.An application called ReRun simply reload all start up entries in one click.But before clicking ReRun.exe press ctrl+alt+delete to open task manager and click process tab then end the corresponding process for the vanished start up program(s). Then click ReRun.exe ... wow.. it reloads all start up programs and your missing vol control is there.
